We are hiring engineers who hand the work to AI and keep the judgment
About ATI
What We Value
Our name means overwhelming ownership. Defined by actual behaviour and actual scope, it comes out like this.
We raise problems outside our scope
"That is not my area" is not an answer here. Contradictory specs, wasteful operations — whoever notices raises it and brings a fix. That behaviour is what the name Overwhelming Ownership refers to.
Management writes code too
Leadership, founding members included, still write code, run design reviews, and take incidents. Technical decisions do not stall waiting for approval.
We decide which work to decline
We turn down projects with no settled purpose, and schedules we already know cannot be met. Pushing through leaves you with neither the quality nor the experience.
Open Positions at ATI
We are hiring across several roles. We look less at years of experience and more at whether you can explain why the thing is being built.

Work Style & Culture
We are fully remote, and because the leadership are working engineers, technical discussion happens daily.
Leadership are working engineers
Leadership, founding members included, still write code. You do not have to translate a technical proposal for a non-engineer to get it approved.
We write down what we got stuck on
Investigations and their conclusions go into the Slack technical channels. Ask a question and someone with experience in that area answers.
You choose your 1-on-1 partner
Weekly 1-on-1s are not fixed to one person. You can name a different person for technical questions and for career questions.
Overwhelming ownership
Finishing your assigned tickets is not the end of the job. If the spec looks wrong, you say so and propose the fix. That is what we evaluate.
Use AI. Also be able to work without it.
Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex are part of daily development here. At the same time, being able to design and implement without them is a hiring requirement — deciding whether to accept an AI's output takes someone who could have written it.
Support
Work Environment & Support
Project selection, working style, and benefits are all set up so you can keep doing this for years.
You pick where you work
Home, the office, or a coworking space. There are no required in-office days.
Overtime is not the plan
We negotiate the schedule with the client. We do not accept an impossible deadline and then cover it with overtime later.
Benefits and side work
Benefit Station membership and a corporate defined contribution pension plan. Side work is allowed once we have discussed what it involves.

A conversation is enough to start
"Would my experience actually apply here?" "How does the remote setup really work?" Questions at that level are fine.
